About Our Program

East Coast Vikings presents an exciting Summer Ice Hockey Program catering to both boys and girls, marking its debut season in the summer of 2024! Primarily operating in June and July, we conduct comprehensive on-ice and off-ice practices twice a week in New Jersey. Our emphasis on off-ice training underscores its pivotal role in enhancing skills such as shooting strength, board play proficiency, and overall speed on the ice. Recognizing the significance of the off-season, we align with the approach of professional and elite hockey players who prioritize strength development during this period. We firmly believe that the groundwork laid in the off-season reflects prominently when players hit the ice in September.

In addition to honing hockey and physical prowess, we offer Summer Tournament teams where players can engage in spirited competition. Contrary to common belief, Summer Tournaments often showcase a higher level of play compared to regular Winter season match-ups. This elevated standard is attributed to the diverse pool of talent drawn from across the country and even internationally, converging for weekend tournaments. Across various age groups and skill levels, we typically offer between 2-4 tournaments, ensuring ample opportunities for participation.

Acknowledging the diverse interests and commitments of our players, we maintain flexibility in our programming. Whether opting for a single tournament or engaging in our full suite of offerings, participants have the freedom to tailor their involvement according to their preferences. Our coaching cadre comprises seasoned mentors with decades of experience in player development. They uphold a standard of excellence and professionalism, ensuring that both practices and tournaments are conducted at the highest level of quality.
